Rolf Hauert, Doctor of Chiropractic D.C.

Born and raised in Switzerland, I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic - West in San Jose, California in 1993 after 4 years of medical school in Bern, Switzerland followed by 3 years of chiropractic studies in the USA.
I subsequently moved to New Zealand and, after working as an associate for 6 months, opened my first chiropractic clinic, "The Chiropractic Health Centre" in Masterton, Wairarapa. After 12 years I sold my practice and have since worked in my own practices in France and Australia and as an associate or consultant in Switzerland and, for the last 8 years, in the UK.

What originally drew me to chiropractic is that, after learning during my first two years of medical school how amazing the human body is, it made much more sense to me to support the body's own healing ability first, before intervening with sometimes necessary, but potentially harmful drugs and surgery.

Why NIPâ„¢?
Â
While I did get good results with most of my patients using the traditional manual chiropractic techniques, I kept looking for ways to help improve the health of my patients who didn't respond well. This is how I came in contact with Australian chiropractor, teacher, researcher and author Dr Neil Davies who, starting in the late 1990s, developed NeuroImpulse Protocol or NIPâ„¢, a 'system of very light force chiropractic based on the expanding knowledge base of the function of the human brain' (Neil Davis).Â

Since predominantly using NIP in my practice over the last 20 years, I have been able to help numerous patients who hadn't responded well to all kinds of health care approaches including the more traditional, manual chiropractic techniques. What I still find very fascinating about NIPâ„¢ is the fact that by it's extremely specific approach patients get outstanding results in a very gentle, un-intrusive and therefore very safe way.
